Mbayagi

Head Writer

Based in Kenya, Mbayagi is a filmmaker with over seven years of experience in the television and film industry, recognized for his work as both a screenwriter and actor. His storytelling is driven by a passion for rich, authentic African narratives that connect with audiences locally and globally.

As a writer, Mbayagi has been involved in several major productions, including the 500-episode telenovela Salem, brains behind the creation of Shanga. He also wrote a 150-episode drama, Reckless, and an original crime series, Qware, for Showmax. In 2022, he led a team to victory at the Kalasha Market Pitching Competition, further establishing his role as a creative in Kenya.

On screen, Mbayagi has acted in a variety of acclaimed shows such as Kina, Single Kiasi, Anda Kava, Salem, and Reckless. He has also featured in commercials for prominent brands including Safaricom and Britam.

Through his diverse talents in writing and acting, Mbayagi remains a dynamic force in shaping Kenya's growing entertainment industry.

Eric Sirama is a passionate filmmaker and director with nearly a decade of experience crafting compelling visual narratives. Since graduating from film school, Eric has continuously honed his craft through dedicated self-training and hands-on experience, developing into a versatile storyteller who excels at bringing brands and stories to life.

His impressive portfolio spans work with major international brands and organizations, including Microsoft, Goethe Institute, Monster Energy, and various non-profit organizations. Eric's expertise encompasses the full spectrum of filmmaking, from intimate documentaries to dynamic commercials. What sets him apart is his unwavering commitment to finding the most impactful way to tell each unique story.

Beyond the camera, Eric is deeply committed to his community. He founded and runs Makongeni Elite, a community football club that reflects his dedication to bringing people together and creating positive impact beyond filmmaking. This community involvement informs his storytelling approach, bringing authenticity and genuine connection to his work.
